The CU Blockchain Projet Competition is a CU Blockchain sponsored event that will take place between October 13th and November 3rd. The competition will be kicked off at the CU Blockchain Summit in the Glenn Miller Ballroom on October 13th and conclude with judging and prizes at the Idea Forge on November 3rd. Both events, including entering the competition, will be free and open to anyone. However, competition teams must have 50% or more of the team consisting of students.

    Each project must be related to blockchain or another distributed ledger technology.
  • Technicality
    What type of technical challenges did the group deal with? (Coding or non-coding challenges.)
  • Creativity
    How unique and innovative is the idea? Has it been seen before? If so, how is this an improvement?
  • Usefulness
    How useful is the project for the real world? What kind of problem does it solve?
  • Design
    How good is the visual design and interaction experience?
  • Makes the world a better place
    Will this demo equalize the playing field rather than perpetuate existing inequities? Does it lead us towards a better society and a blockchain culture that reflects the diversity of the world?
